A schedule is a job that runs on its own at a set time. It runs on your computer while Localoy is open and the computer is awake; nothing runs while Localoy is closed.
Make one
- Open Schedules and describe the job, for example “audit the site every night”. Pick the agent if you have more than one; it needs the Schedules switch.
- The agent talks it through with you in Plan mode. When it’s clear, press Create the schedule.
- The draft shows as not armed yet. Press Review it: what runs, which agent, how it runs, what it may do without asking, and when.
- Choose Every day, Every weekday or Every Monday and a time. Press Try it now to see a run, then Arm.
While you’re away
Nobody is there to answer a question during a scheduled run, so anything the schedule wasn’t allowed to do is refused and listed after the run under Wanted to…, with Allow for next time. Each schedule has Run now, Pause, See the run and Delete.
