Design with Vinci

Vinci is the design editor built into Localoy. The agent lays out real text, shapes and your pictures on boards at each channel’s size, and you can change anything yourself. It needs no switch.

Ask for the work

  1. Tell it about the brand. Give it your website (with the Web switch on) or attach your logo. If the folder has a DESIGN.md, it reads your colours, type and voice from there, and it only adds to that file when you say yes.
  2. Plan it. Open Vinci Editor from the chat’s ⋮ menu, then, in Plan mode, ask for the set: “Make the launch set: two LinkedIn posts, a LinkedIn banner and an X post.” It asks what it needs and proposes the pieces. Nothing is drawn yet.
  3. Switch to Auto and tell it to go ahead. It may lay out a few directions and ask which one to build on.

Vinci joins a chat when you open it (⋮ menu, Vinci Editor), when a message starts with /vinci, or when you ask it to draw, paint, sketch or illustrate. For posts and banners, open the editor first or start with /vinci, so the agent designs there.

Watch and edit

Once a chat has a drawing, a Vinci card in the chat reopens it; the editor never opens by itself. Retype a line, move a shape or pick another colour: the agent hears what you changed on its next step. Select items and use them in your next message (“make these bigger”).

Export

The agent saves each board as its own PNG in the chat’s folder, named after the board. To export yourself, press Export in the editor: choose 1× to 16×, or type a width in pixels, and whether the background is transparent. Vinci draws every item again at that size, so a large export stays sharp. One export can be up to 110 million pixels. The file goes to your Downloads folder, with Show in Finder when it’s done.
