These terms cover the Localoy app, your account at app.localoy.ai and the gateway at api.localoy.ai. By using them, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. “We” means Localoy, the people who make it.
Your account
An account belongs to one person. Keep access to your email safe, since that is how you sign in. You are responsible for what happens in your account and on the computers signed in to it. If you run an organization, you are responsible for the people you invite and the limits you give them.
What your agents do
Agents act for you, with the files, browser, accounts and apps you give them. You decide what they can reach, and you are responsible for what they do with it, as if you had done it yourself. Check their work before it matters: AI models make mistakes, and their answers can be wrong, incomplete or out of date.
What you can’t use Localoy for
- Anything illegal, or anything that harms, harasses or deceives other people.
- Spam, or sending messages people didn’t ask for at scale.
- Breaking into systems or accounts that aren’t yours, or attacking our services.
- Getting around limits, prices or sign-in, or reselling access to Localoy’s models without our agreement.
- Breaking the rules of the model providers and apps you reach through Localoy.
Credit
Localoy’s cloud models are paid for with credit that you add in advance. Each call costs what its provider charged plus our markup, and the dashboard shows the price of each model before you use it. Credit never expires, and there is no monthly fee. Models that run on your computer don’t use credit. If a charge looks wrong, email us and we will look at it.
Apps you connect
When you connect an app with a key or a sign-in, you let your agents use it on your behalf. That app’s own terms still apply. We use your key or sign-in only to make the calls your agents ask for. You can remove a connection at any time, and you can also cancel the sign-in from the app’s own settings.
Your content
What you put into Localoy and what your agents make for you are yours. We claim no ownership of them, and we don’t use them to train models.
Changes to Localoy
We keep improving Localoy, so features, models and prices change. A price change applies to calls made after it, never to credit already spent. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law or the safety of others stops us.
What we can promise
We work to keep Localoy running and your data safe, but we provide it “as is”, without guarantees that it will always be available, free of errors, or right for a particular purpose. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or lost-profit damages, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights the law gives you that can’t be limited.
Ending
You can stop using Localoy at any time, and ask us to delete your account by emailing privacy@localoy.ai.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, we update them here and change the date at the top. For a change that matters, we will tell you by email before it applies. Using Localoy after that means you accept the new terms.
